Australian Menagerie is an excellent family game featuring unique Australian wildlife and habitats and engages your family in their protection.
Players collect sets of animal cards, place them into a nature reserve and protect them from threats to their survival. The game has three levels of difficulty so although it is an enjoyable game for young children it can also be played as a highly competitive and entertaining game by teenagers and adults.
The standard game comes with 3 game boards representing your nature reserves, 44 playing cards featuring 11animals, 5 threat cards and 5 management strategy cards. It features the semi-arid, forest, and coastal habitats of south east Australia. The 11 animals featured are the yellow footed rock-wallaby, mallee fowl, superb parrot, echidna, koala, wombat, platypus, diamond python, little penguin, southern brown bandicoot and the green and golden bell frog.

There are 5 add on habitats available to increase the fun of the game and your knowledge of Australian biodiversity. Each ADD-ON Habitat pack contains 16 animal cards featuring four animals from that region of Australia, 1 threat card, 1 management strategy card and three copies of the habitat game boards.
